BIOGRAPHY

 

 

Andrea Pellegrino has graduated in Belcanto, with the highest honors and distinction, from the "Ottorino Respighi" Music Conservatory in Latina (Italy). During the last years, he has attended specialization courses and master classes with famous opera singers like: Dimitra Theodossiou (2013) and Mariella Devia (2014).

Moreover, in 2015, he has attended a master class in recitation and opera-musical with Valentina Corgnati and Paola Neri and a specialization course in belcanto with Matteo Sartini and Patrizia Scivolotto.

Consequently he has won many national singing competitions and performed in several international concerts organized by important institutions like: Embassy of South Africa in Italy or European Parliament in Strasbourg.

Andrea has performed the role of Borsa in Verdi’s Rigoletto at Sforza Cesarini Palace (Genzano di Roma) and Amore in Gluck’s “Orfeo ed Euridice at the Theatre “Il Pigneto” from Velletri. In November he has performed in Verdi’s "La Traviata" as Gastone and from April to May 2015 he has been Spoletta in "Tosca" and Remendado in Bizet's "Carmen".

Andrea is an eclectic musician and his repertoire includes, beyond opera,  many other genres as: musicals ("Notre Dame de Paris" by Riccardo Cocciante, "Forza venite gente", "Pinocchio" by the Pooh, "Sister act 2", "Tosca" by Lucio Dalla, "Beauty and the Beast") and crossover.

Andrea Pellegrino is currently under contract with Silversea Cruise Lines as Principal male vocalist in the World Cruises.
