BIOGRAPHY
Born in Assisi (Italy), Benedetta has began her musical studies at a very young age as pianist and singer. In 2006 she has achieved her BA in Foreign Languages and Literature at the University of Perugia and in 2007 she has obtained her second BA in Music Performance - Belcanto from the Music Conservatory of Perugia, under the guidance of Gabriella Rossi.
She has participated in many opera international masterclasses with: Michela Sburlati, Gabriella Rossi, Maura Meneghini, Marina Comparato, Donatella Debolini, Susanna Rigacci (the voice of Ennio Morricone’s soundtracks).
After winning the national competition “Mario Petri” Benedetta has started her singing carrier, interpreting many roles in opera performances of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Gioacchino Rossini, Vincenzo Bellini, Gaetano Donizetti, Giuseppe Verdi, Pietro Mascagni, Giacomo Puccini, Georges Bizet, and participating in concerts held at the Conservatory of Perugia, Teatro Morlacchi, Palazzo dei Priori ecc.
In 2014, Benedetta has participated at the Festival Federico Cesi performing as a soloist with Rome International Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Alessandro Viale. She has in her repertoire roles like: Serpina (La serva padrona), Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Despina (Così fan tutte) Susanna (Nozze di Figaro), Giannetta (Elisir d’amore), Giovanna (Anna Bolena), Annina and Flora (Traviata), Gilda (Rigoletto), Mercedes and Micaela (Carmen), Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi), Musetta and recently Mimì (La Bohème).
From 2011 until 2014 she has participated at the opera season of Teatro Lirico Sperimentale "A. Belli" in Spoleto, performing in operas like Traviata (Verdi), Tosca (Puccini), Gianni Schicchi (Puccini) and Alfred Alfred (Donatoni).
At present she collaborates with Silversea Cruise Lines as Principal Female Vocalist in a World Cruise.
